CrPEn Sandusky, 0 March 20. There
died last night at Wharton, in the western
part of the county, one of the most remark
able creatures, an ii fant aged 29 years.
The child, or j-oung man, was the son of
Austen Borden, nnd during all the years of
its life, was nothing more than a mere baby.
It developed in no respect, and died in its
cradle. It could neither talk, walk nor
recogn ize a ny one, and was as helpless when
it readied its manhood as the day it was
bom. The doctors were completely baffled
could do nothing, and for twenty-nine years
its death has been patiently awaited.

was set upon by Burglar Milborn and For

of severe scalp wounds from a slungshot in
the hands of Levering. He finally broke
away nnd drawing his revolver, fired one
ineffectual shot, after which he drove the
prisoners to their cells and locked them np.
Levering is a noted forger and has left; his
tracks not only in this state but in Oregon
and California.
