After the adjournment of the city

treated the council and reporters to an
oyster supper at laotn's, which was a
rare treat. Some line eastern oysters
had just been received and the hungry

him on to the road again. He has been
put in charge of nearly all the trains.

K-itli v. .Niitenoach, on tlio corner ot 1st and Jlroaualbin
Streets, opposite Samuel E. Young's store.
It is our aim to make this room a model clothing store
and wo have placed the same in the hands of experienod
mechanics witli instructions to finish the room por our
plans witli the least possible delay.
One of tbe main beauties of the stor will ha the light,
this we have an abundance of, and tho light of day will
shine in upon our large and fine stock ol goods. You will
be able to distinguish the most delicate colors at any time
during the day in any part of the stor.
The room will bo divided into even distinct depart
mmts, viz: 1. Men's clothing. 2. Boys' clothing. 3.
Childrens' clothing. 4. Furnishing goods. 5. Men's and
Boys' hats. 0. Beots and Shoes. 7. Trunks and Valises.
In order to have the stock reduced aB low as possible
before removing wo have decided to make the biggest re
duction ever offered to the public by any clothing house in
the city, one-fifth off, twenty per cent off the marked
price which is in plain figures. This is a grand opportun
ity, and take advantage of it.
