trdinnnco No 133,cntitlcd"An ordinance
to provide for the prevention of Hies and
t!e protection of persons and property
end:injrered thereby and to provide a
penalty for tho violation of said Section
i5,rs by the following ordinance amended.
Tho people of the city of Albany do
ordain as follows:
Section. That Section lfl of Ordi
nance No 13.1, entitled "An ordinance to
-provide for the prevention oiiircsanu
the protection of persons and property
endangered thereby," be and the same is
hereby amended so ns to renu as ioiiuwa
Sec tion- That no person or persons
eouiuanv or corporation, nor any person
as the agent, employee or representative
of any other person or persons, company
or corporation, shall keep for sale or on
toraire or otherwise, within the tire lim
its of the citv of Albany, more than two
hundred gallons of dal oil, nor more
than 10 gallons of gasoline.nor more than
10 gallons naptha, all of tho same to be
securely kept in metalic cans or tanks.
And no person or persons, company or
orporation,nor any person as line ageni,
employee or representative of any other
person, company or corporation, shall
ieep for sale or on storage, within the
corporate limits 01 saiu city outsiue 01
the fire limits thereof, any coal oil, gaso
line or naptha unless the same lie kept
in metalic cans or tanks inside of a tire
proof building.
Section 2. And any person, either as
bis own representative or as tne agent,
employee or repro cntative of any other
Tie-sou or persons, company or corpora
tion, who shall violate any of the provi
sions of said Section ID, as hereby amend
ed, shall be deemed guilty of a misde
meanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be nned not less than fo nor more
than if 100, or be imprisoned in tho city
jail not less than 25 days nor more than
60 days.
S-ECTioN 3. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its
approval by the Mayor.
