in Woodworth s store window. As
sisted by Geo. Cline the monster was
duly landed, a big one, but not the rec
ord here, ihe biggest one known here
was caught a few years ago and dis
played at the Baltimore Gun Store. Itr
weighed 7 pounds. The bass are now
around ana worth the catching.

and Dr. Sharp of Albany,
Saturday afternoon there will be a
meeting of special interest, when J. 0.
Holt, of Eugene, will speak on fruit
raising and fruit selling, telling of the
Eugene cannery, a success, and a big
crowd is wanted, as it will be practical.
In the evening the speakers will be
Chas Hoeg.W. F. Scott and L. Samuel.
GO as often as possible.
An Auto Parade.
As a prelude to clean-up day, Friday
and Saturday, tomorrow afternoon at 4
o'clock there will be an auto parade
woith seeing. Watch for it.
Then get the inspiration and Friday
afternoon and evening have things
cleaned up and put on the S. W. corner
of the block, where the next moraine
the city team will take care of it. Make
the event a clean sweep.
