From Albany's Six Early
Trains.
J. E. Willoughby, sentenced last
evening to a year in the state poniten
tiary, left for Salem to begin his resi
dence there, accompanied by Sheriff
Smith. Mr. Willoughby is another
victim of the liquor business.
W. A. Kimsey, nominee for county
treasurer, left tor the country in the
interest of his candidacy. He is ma
king a good fight for the office on a
good record as a man and citizen,
backed by excellent qualifications for
the office.

Glub. Esch night finds the gamo ta

Lively times are in prospect for the

ing season will be tue best of any of
late years from the standpoint of real
intrest and entertainment for the mem
bers. I Bowling, pool, billiards and card
tournaments are now being arranged
; and there will be opportunity for all to

The bowling tournament will begin on
Monday night and those desirous to en

steward of the club on or before that
date. Two turkeys are to be given
away to the successful ones in this
tournament. The contest will close im
