Crawford and Orin Beam, of thiB city, have just dug up on toe farm of George Cochran, in Tangent precinct the skeleton, whiob may well cause inquiry as to their origiu and whether or nut they are those of the long Bought miss ing skeleton. All the bones were secured and they will be articulated as soon as poesible in order to Bhow what kiud of a creature they were once the frame of. Tney indicate a man of 4 feet, 8 inches, of large hones. The skull lacks the us url sutures. It is 18 Inches in circum lerence, four irches smalltr than that of the average skull ol the wnite man lhe jawB are Inrgt and prottuding and the teeth perfect. The vertebrae have an additional bone and a socket for a miss ing bone. The bones of the legs and feet are normal, like tnose of a man, but in the arms the radius and ulna bones are about two inches longer than the hu merous bone where they are generally considerably sl-orter, indicating an arm that reached considerably below the knee. Tbe bones of tbe Sneer are longer than those of a man. The skull is known as lopho cenbalon. The ekelelon is not that of an Indian, beiug distinctly differ ent.
