land C. Couithard their houses were brok
en into and robbed of jewelry and several
other articles of value. When Couithard
returned and tound that the houses hail
been burglarized he started to town to no
tify the officers. On the way he was stop
ped by two men armed with Winchester
nflea and made to give up his wagon and
team. The robbers drove near town and
left the wagon, but took the horses with
them. A posse was immediately organiz
ed and went In pursuit. A dispatch from
Watsonville saystbe robbers have been captured.
