That was the opinion of Mayor Fred Dengler and several of the city councilman and to help them in their findings, a citizens bud­ get com m ittee of three was nam ­ ed. They are: -J Vera Bayless, Nick Nlquette. and Ed Kron. The drainage problem has worr­ ied the residents of Pine street area for som etim e and several have appeared before the city council asking that something be done. It was estimated that $2,000 would be needed to adequately drain the area X Rogue River.
