By Mrs. Ray Doran TABLE ROCK — Table Rock Sunday school members motored to the Meadows Sunday morn ing and had a wonderful time of fellowship in song and les son given by the ASU Mission ary, Allan Hill. A potluck dinner was very much enjoyed by all. The whole service was held out doors under beautiful green trees on a nice slope with a good view of the surrounding meadows and hills. The contest in memory work was won by Table Rock by 29 points with a team of five chosen by the coaches of each Sunday school. Only one, Mrs. Hassel Dickey, Table Rock, had her 20 verses letter perfect and each reference perfect. Next Sunday, services will be held in the school house at the usual time of 10 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Visits Sister-in-law Ed Draheim, Modesto, Calif., visited his sister-in-law, Mrs. Elmer Hull, and family Wednes day through Friday of last week. An informal party was given Friday evening at the Fred Smith home for Mr and Mrs. Johnny Bigham. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Russell and daughter of Portland were visit ors over the weekend with their daughter, Mrs. Art Sharp, and family. Melvin Wyatt, San Francisco, has spent a few days visiting his brother, Ray, and family. He left Sunday. Allan and Anne Sharp spent the week with grandparents, Mr and Mrs. Ray Doran. Picnic and Hay Rida The Teenage club met at the school house Saturday evening and under the sponsorship of Mrs. Aubrey Taylor and Mrs. Elmo Stallings they had a picnic supper on the river. Then with Aubrey Taylor driving a small tractor with a hay loaded wagon behind, they made a jaunt around Table Rock. There were 12 boys and girls and they had a very good time. Mrs. Jacobson Sr. and Mrs. Pearl Brown have bought nice trailer houses and will live here and in Table Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Milford Vander pool attended the rodeo Sunday at Montague, Calif. Fred Smith and children. Wayne and Lucile, and Glenna Brown left Wednesday for San Francisco. They will be gone several days shopping and visit ing. Gwendolyn Burkland, Mead ows, spent Tuesday with Linda Doran. H. W. Davisson underwent major surgery Tuesday momir.g at Sacred Heart hospital in Med ford. Mrs. Gott- fred Hansen on Table Rock, road Miss Dottie Hansen will stay in this area until about July 12 when a church camp opens near Portland. She will be visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen and boys, David and Douglas, will leave Friday to return to their home in Spokane. They arrived in the valley Monday. Two of the calls were to the old sawdust pile on the Skou property just east of the city limits. The two fires were minor. The other call came in the afternoon.
