Wins Cake Walk
At Teenage Dance

WILLOW SPRINGS—Teenage
dance was held Saturday, June
23, at the Willow Springs com­
munity club. The cake walk was

by Carolyn Stevenson,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll
Stevenson.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Har­
rison were Thursday guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gonzales of
Talent. They went horseback
riding and then had a hamburger
fry.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Parent
went on a Sunday drive to
Galice. He made a trip to Klam­
ath Falls Saturday to visit the
Weyerhouser hard board plant.
New Baby Girl
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ward have
a new baby girl, weight 7 to
pounds. Mrs. Ward has been the
bookkeeper for Gulf Red Cedar
Co., Inc. for several years.
Mrs. Norma Lees and children
from Crescent City, Calif, were
guests at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer Weiss. She is their
daughter.
Mr. And Mrs. Charles Hallett
flhd his nephew, Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Rogers and son, had a
picnic in Ashland Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Barney Olds-
field from Klamath Falls were
guests at the home of Mrs. Olive
Blackford over the weekend.
Her granddaughter, Sharon
Blackford, has returned to Hap­
py Camp, Calif., with her moth­
er, Mrs West Blackford, who
visited a few days with Mrs.
Olive Blackford.
Mrs. Julia Kelley won a $50
prize from Johnston store in
Medford at the home show held
at Blue Moon ranch last week­
end.
Mr, and Mrs. Philip Fahm-
lender were visitors at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith rec­

Celebrate Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. L. C McMahan
helped the Thomas Grissoms of
Ashland celebrate their 15th an­
niversary Saturday with three
other couples at the Gold Hill
grange. Miss Karoline McMahan
just returned from a two-day
visit in Roseburg While there
she attended a rodeo. She is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C.
McMahan.
