4-H Homemakers
Hold Club Meeting
The meeting of Table Rock
4-H Homemaking club was call­
ed to order by President Glenna
Brown.
We had the flag salute and
roll call. We had some new an­
nouncements read by Carol Mey­
ers, secretary. She also read the
minutes of the last meeting.
We began work on our pro­
jects. Later we had recess and
went home.

LEGION AUXILIARY
American Legion Auxiliary
will hold a regular meeting at
8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at
the Legion Memorial hall. Im­
portant business is scheduled
along with a special Flag Day
program.
BOY TO GARRISON
A son was bom to Mr. and
Mrs. Curtis Garrison of Central
Point on Tuesday, June 5, at
Community hospital in Medford.
Weight at birth was 6*4 pounds.
George Misek,
Mail Carrier,
Takes Own Life
The death of George Misek,
43, route one rural mail carrier
in Central Point, on Thursday
morning, May 31, has been de­
clared suicide according to in­
vestigating officers.
The body of Misek was dis­
covered by his wife, Donnis Fay,
about 9 a.m. May 31. He was
found in the rear of a 1956
station wagon parked in the
garage behind the family home
at 431 North Fifth street.
Death, between 7:45 a.m. and
9 a m., was attributed to carbon
monoxide poisoning.
Misek, who was on annual
leave from post office duties
until June 2. had come to Cen­
tral Point July 1, 1955, as route
one carrier. He had transferred
with Robert Ellis who assumed
his duties in Nebraska.
Funeral services were conduct­
ed in Wilbur, Nebraska, Tues­
day
afternoon.
Arrangements
were handled by Conger-Morris
Funeral Home of Medford.
Mr. Misek was born in Wilbur,
Nebraska, February 21, 1913. He
served in the Coast Guard dur-
ing World W.ir 11 from 1943 to
1946.
Survivors include his wife;
two sons, Norman and David,
at the family home; mother,
Mrs. Mary Misek; three sister,
Mrs. Anna Pasek, Humbolt, Ne-

Omaha, Nebraska.
