At Theater Party By Mrs. Rav Doran TABLE ROCK—Tuesday night after graduation at Central Point Junior High school, the four boys and two girls from this district who had gone through all eight grades together held a party accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. R. Doran. The six were Mark Bishop, Jim Shope, Don Ryan, Byron Rominger, Glenna Brown and Linda Doran. Guests included Laine Donker, Carol Albert and Rayanne Greene. Sharon Allred, Central Point, has joined the 4-H class in Table Rock. Gary Garrison was a guest of Joe Stallings Friday and attend ed the community supper. Mrs. Mary Howsley left last week for a motor trip to Mis souri and visits with other rel atives in the east. She expects to return in July. Sharon Allred was an over night guest Thursday of Glenna Brown. Lea Taberna was an overnight guest of Penny Taylor Thursday. Bible study class was postpon ed until Wednesday this past week because of Junior High school graduation. Mrs. Mary Meyers attended a concert at SOCE Friday night with her nephew, David Bigham, Central Point, who participated. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Doran, Lin da; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sharp, . Allan and * Anne; Mrs. Marsha Schultz motored to Big Flats Dude ranch owned by Mrs. Doran’s uncle, Bill Steven. It is about 30 miles from Crescent City, Calif They left Saturday morning and returned Sunday evening. James Vanderpool spent the past weekend in Red Bluff, Calif. A birthday shower of tea towels was given for Edna Mey ers Sunday afternoon at the Everett Brown home with 36 present. J. W. Bigham, Antelope, spent Saturday evening at the Frank Myers home. Mrs. Ray Doran accompanied six girls on their "skip" day ac tivities Monday. After practicing graduation exercises, they mot ored to the Ashland park for a few hours of play and then lunch. In the afternoon, they had a “swimming” good time in the pool at the Luther farm home in Fern Valley, then to Tou Velle park for a wiener roast. The evening was spent at the Starlite theater. Girls were Laine Donker, Linda Dor an, Carol Albert, Rayanne Greene, Glenna Brown and Mild red Darras A good time and a good supper was had Friday night at Tou Velle park when the Community club held its last meeting of the summer months. The men played horseshoes and the young folks played baseball. Visitors includ ed Mr. and Mrs. Dave Doran and children; Mr. and Mrs. Ern est Smith, Phoenix; and Doreen Straus, Medford. A family gathering of 22 mem bers was held at the home of E. C. Hamilton on Pumice Lane Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Cooper came from Dunsmuir and the rest were from the valley. Keizurs Leave June 6 For Month in Ohio Mr. and Mrs. William Keizur of Central Point will leave June 6 for a months vacation trip and visit in Columbus, Ohio. They will be guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Irving H. Ruth. Mrs. Ruth is the former Ruth Keizur. The trip to Ohio was a Christ mas gift to the Keizurs from Mr. and Mrs. Ruth. HAS BACK SURGERY William Esselstyn, athletic di rector at Central Point Junior high, underwent surgery at Sac- rad Heart hospital last Saturday morning to correct a back injury. He is expected to be released this weekend.
