Billy Abbott Chairman
For Dean Memorial
Fund Drive in City
C. W "Billy’’ Abbott announced
this week that he has been asked
to take charge of the distribution
of shares in the Tubby Dean Mem
orial Fund in Central Point.
Mr. Abbott stated that the shares
will sell for one dollar each which
entitles the holder a share in the
Memorial score board dedicated to
Tubby Dean and also admission to
the big basketball extravaganza to
be held at the Medford High School
on March 28.
Mr Dean, who devoted a great
deal of hts time to the welfare of
youth activities in the valley, was
also active in the promotion of
athletic events in Jackson County.
Tubby Dean had many friends in
Central Point and it is hoped that
these friends will purchase the
shares and attend the Memorial
game.

shares and tickets may be purchased
