that a special session of the Oregon
Grand Chapter will be held at the
Masonic Temple in Portland, Oct. 1
and 2, according to information re
ceived by grand officers here. The
usual June meeting was postponed
at the request of the Office of De
fense Transportation and grand of
ficers who ordinarily would have been
installed at that time will take office
at the special session.
Of outstanding interest here is the
fact that Mrs. Lorena MsNair. Alpha
chapter, Ashland, will be Installed as
sociate grand matron during the ses
sion.

ly returned from England where he
