Meets With Mrs. W ood
Mrs. J. C. NVoods entertained the
Golden Link Bible Class at her home
Friday aflernoon. About twenty-five
guests were present. Mrs. Lacy and
Mrs. Scott had charge of the enter­
tainment after the regular business
session.
Mrs. Mattie Smith won first prize
for answering the most bible ques­
tions correctly. Three jelly beans

each lady. She was to make an ani­
mal out of them. Mrs. Powell won
first.

ELMA, Wash., Oct. 11.— E S. Av-
ey, Elma Lawyer, asserts this is a
true story.
An Oakville farmer was returning
home to his ranch from town when
he saw a fine buck in his ranch near
