J. C. Cass, Auto
Wreckers Is Fast
Growing Concern
This firm is located on the Pacific
Highway near the intersection of
Stewart Avenue just south o f Med
ford. Mr. J. C. Cass, the proprietor
lias conducted an auto wrecking and
parts business in this location for a
number of years. He carries the larg
est stock of used parts for all makes
of cars in Southern Oregon.
Many people do not realize thi
value of an auto wrecking concern
to the community. They are in real
ity one of the almost indispensible
factors in modern life.
They will pay you a fair price for
your old auto or one that has been
in a wreck, and take it to their
place o f business. There the car Is
taken all apart and the good parts
segregated from the worn out ones
and the rest sold for junk. The sal
vaged parts are then placed in bins
labeled with the year o f the car.
From these salvaged parts one
may find almost any part o f any
make and year o f car. These parts
are sold at a greatly reduced price
and a great saving in time as well
as price may be affected by their
use.
Mr. Cass has perfected a new,
modern pump for irrigation
pur
poses which he manufactures at his
plant on the highway. This pump is
o f the submerged type, which pushe*»
instead of pulls the water. They are
made in many different sizes.

Hearing the agonized cries o f his
son, the father ran to his assistance
and in doing so ran into a barbed
wire fence, cutting a handful o f flesh
from his anatomy and ruining a $4
pair o f pants.
The old cow took advantage of the
hole in the fence, got into the corn
field and killed herself eating green
corn. Hearing the racket, the farm

setting a four-gallon ehurn full of
cream into a basket of kittens and
killed the whole flock. She slipped
on the cream and fell down stairs,
breaking her leg and a $19 set of
