Winner of No Prize Whatever 1934 VOLUME VII M usings^ By an Innocent Bystander Last Sunday the writer and sev eral members of his family drove way back into the "forest primeval" in search of the elusive huckleberry W e had never been up in that part of the county before and so were especially interested. And of all the long winding hills! It seemed we would never get to the top. But when we finally did arrive at our destination, we found we were “ sit ting on top of the world," as the feller said. But we wish some of the New Deal scientists would set themselves to work and find some thing to cross with the huckleberry which would make them grow In clusters, instead of being so darned lonesome. 1 fHE AMERICAN!
