SCHOOL NOTES
The AMERICAN. CENTRAL POINT. OREGON
Woodwork covered with enamel or
any gloss paint or with varnish has
a harder surface and does not be
come so much soiled, consequently
is much easier to clean. Spots usual
ly can be removed with a woolen
cloth wrung out of warm water. Rub
gently, with a circular motion. If
the spots persist, put a little whiting
on a damp cloth, apply lightly, wipe
off dry at once.
The soft luster
of enamel is dulled a little by even
the mildest soap, therefore it should
be used only when absolutely neces
sary.
Discoloration on woodwork made
by scratching matches can be re
moved with lemon juice.
