unnamed. Gene Shield was elect
ed honorary captain of the past
season and responded with a short
speech.
The dinner ended with a few
closing remarks by
President
Churchill in which he stated that
he wished everyone could return
next year; that he felt certain of
the growth of the Southern Ore
gon Normal; that the school was
exceedingly fortunate in having a
faculty that endorsed athletics,
and that he feit proud of the suc
cess attained in athletics this year.
The Alma Mater song was the
closing act on the events of the
evening.
