    Shoshones Make Unique Peace Treaty With Whites
A historic friendship o f three generations’ duration between the Shoshone Indians and the whites was further
cemented by a remarkable ceremonial held recently on the Shoshone reservation at Fort Hall, Idaho, when Chief
Tendojr III completed a unique treaty o f peace between the Shoshone nation and President Carl It. Gray of the

the conclusion of the ceremony.
