after the recent rains has been a
great help to the farmers o f this

Many o f the hunters from here
have returned, some with big deer
as their reward and some reporting
no luck. A few o f the successful ones
are James and Abe Johnson, George
McDonough and Joe Hitch.
Members of the Straus and Day
families have returned with their
big band of cattle from their summer
pasture in the hills. They report a
very uncomfortable time on account
; o f the rain, snow and sleet.

Our grange meets Thursday night

more new candidates. The lucky ones
this time are Mr. and Mrs. Martin
of Beagle, Mr. and Mrs. Vaugh o f
Table Rock; Glenn Holst and Nate
Milkowski both o f Sams valley.
Although we are a new grange we
have more members than some
granges twice as old.

ing for the past few days at the I
home o f Mrs. O. T. Wilson.
J. L. Rowe returned from a several
days hunt on trail creek but reports
nothing but hunters luck.
All in our community who receive
the Central Point American say the
last issue was biger and better than
ever. Its popularity is steadily in
creasing in this section and we hope
it is the same other places.

mestic purposes; authorizing state bonds issued not exceeding
five per centum of assessed state valuation; bonds issued to
pay interest or principal of outstanding bonds; issuance of in
terest bearing state public utility certificates; paying principal
or interest of bonds from state general fund with repayment
from bond fund ; taxes levied to provide such moneys; appro
priating $250,000 from the general fund returnable from wat
er and power revolving fund.
