Stearns, aged Williams resident, was found Satur day along the road between Provolt and the Williams store, where he had evidently been stricken suddenly. He was believed to have been on his way from his home to the Williams store, when overtaken by death. The body was discovered by pass- ersby at about 2 o’clock in the after noon, after having lain y the road side, apparently, for several hours. The deceased is reported to have been about 70 years o f age. Details are meagre. The sheriff’s office was notified o f the finding o f the body.
