CENTRAL POINT ON
THE SPOT
That certain property in Central Point is in demand
is quite evident, judging from the demands that have been
made upon our city officers for lots in this city.
Due to our close proximity to Medford where land
values are greatly inflated, business houses which need
loading and storage quarters along the railroad are in need
of more room and want cheaper land upon which to build.
Our city is indeed fortunate to be so favorably located for
when these outside interests begin locating here it will
mean new families, new residences, more taxes and more
business for our merchants.
Besides these advantages which are ours we are be
ing looked upon as being centrally enough located to be
the hub for a cheese factory operation and much work is
being done to bring this new industry to our city.
A little effort and a little cooperation among the sev
eral interests of the city and surrounding territory will
do much for our town.
MAKE IT A REAL CLEAN-UP
THIS YEAR
Our spring weather is so beautiful and pleasant that
cleanup days should be a pastime. The solace and pleas
ure derived from seeing your property clean and attractive
should be incentive enough to not only clean up your own
place but encourage your neighbors to do likewise. Noth
ing pays a town more than clean attractive homes and
yards. It pays dividends in health, and happiness and
leaves a pleasant picture in the mind of all tourists which
pass thru or stop within our gates and sooner or later it
means actual weath along with health and happiness. Due
to the long open spring time there should be no excuse for
not having the entire town spic and span before Easter
Sunday. Let us all cooperate to give our city a bright, new
Easter dress.

It seems that congress is on the fence on the prohibi

public die from thirst or repeal the law and let them drink
themselves to death.

Of the 28 million homes in the United
States, almost 20 million now have the ad
vantages of light and power. The facilities
of the power companies and the many ap
pliances now on the market enable all of
these homes to employ electrical servants at
reasonable cost.
These servants do not have to he hu
mored. You do not have to give them “a
day off.” They work for you with the same
efficiency all day, every day. Arc you enjoy
ing their service?
