The first half o f state, county and
city taxes are now due and will become
delinquent April 5th. If not paid on or
before that date, the amount due car­
ries interest at 1J per cent per month
to November 5th, when a penalty of
5 per cent is added.
Taxes may be paid here at the Cen­
tral Point State Bank.
In order to
prevent the usual loss of money suffer­
ed bv the banks who have heretofore
handled the collections gratis, a charge
of 15c will be made for each collection
to protect the banks.
