and this belief is fully supported
by weather records.

the many superstitions generat­

“ Oh, where is my wandering
boy tonight?” has been sung for
thousands o f times with tender­
ness and pathos, but how many
o f the singers or hearers, ever
gave heed to the pertinent in­
quiry o f the song? Statistics are
frequently published showing the
