Mischievous Boys.
(To the editor.) On Christmas eve
some boys, old enough to know better,
entered the entrance o f the Baptist
church while the Christmas tree exer
cises were in progress and from sev
eral lanterns which had been left there,
including my own, they removed the
wicks, making the lanterns useless to
light our stepe homeward. W e did not
discover the loss until at the close o f
the program, when we tr ie ! to relight
the lanterns. These boys should be
severely reprimanded for such mischief.
Yours respectfully.

tt Is readily adjuatabls to depth, and
this works with a lever. The plow goea
along as exactly as a big plane.
Now. It seems to ms that plow manu
facturers should take a hint from this.
Such an attachment as I bavs adapted
ought to be sold for leas than 110 and,
added to the already vary good’ plow«,
would make for perfect work.
If the manufacturers will not do this,
one can usually find old wheals either
on hla own farm or In the Jnuk shop
to make his own plow carriage. Wo
find only ana difficulty In adjustment.
It Is to keep the plow level, rather
running a little on the land side, espe
cially In tough alfalfa sod. This wo
manage by inserting a thtn wedge of
wood under the beam when clamping
tt down. There Is s better way. On*
wheel might be arranged to be raised
or toweled Independently o f the other.
