the Sacramento Valley Development
League, arrived this morning from the
south. Washington is sending gener

expected from Lewiston, Idaho, tomor-

feels that in addition to the innmerable
purely attractive features of the cele

for nowhere else in the world can

the ruses of the North Pacific Coast.
The grand parade will exceed anything
evor shown on the Coast, and besides
all the leading tower of Oregon, Wash

When the Oregon Development League
recently asked the co-operation of the
state in making a comprehensive exhibit |
of the products of the Pacific North- i
west, heartiest assurances of help came i
from every quacier, but before definite ,
arrangements could be completed the
trustees of the Commercial Club build- j
ing were offered a five years’ rental ol'
$'21,000 for the exhibit room and felt
compelled to accept this in justice t o ,
the stockholders. But the officers of
the League say that their plan will yet
materialize.
Both the Pacific Monthly Magazine
and Sunset appear as special Rbr.i■

proves the activity of Oregon and
Washington communities so forcibly as
a glance through the advertising suc

Coast delegates have come to Portland
to attend the session of the Pacific
Coast Ad Men’s Association. It is
being held in the Convention Hall of
the Commercial Club building, and the
Assoaiation will enjoy a unique dinner
at tho Club tonight. Their banquets
aro probably the most unusual and in
teresting given by any convention.
They have been compared to similar
affairs of tho famous Grid Iron C l u b of
Washington, and, since the Portland
Ad Men claim to have the largest Ad

making special efforts as hosts. <
