The above cut shows something o f the advancement that has Leen
made in Central Point in the matter o f school buildings in the past 50
years. The small building was erected about 1859; the two-story frame
was built in 1888, and the beautiful brick struiture was built in 1906.
The two-story fram e building still stands on the school grounds and is
in a good state o f preservation. It will probably be needed next year
to furnish additional room tor the rapidly growing school. The smaller
building was sold last year and removed to another part of town, where
it is serving as a barn.
