Hal Roach sends his fun-makers,
headed by Glen Tryon and Blanch
MehaiTey, to us again in his latest
novelty feature, “The White Sheep.”
This picture, which is being released
by Pathe, is said to strike a new
note in comedy features and is a
blend of exciting melodrama with
broad farce.
The story is laid in a little town
that straddles the state line between
Kansas and Missouri where the
Fighting Tyler family reign supreme.
A belligerent father, two fighting
;ons and another son, “The White
Sheep” of the family, are in a con

the neighbors or between themselves.
There is an hilarious three-sided
courtship done in the best Hal Roach
style, between the two black sheep

The story has a dramatic trend that
is punctuated with laughs and num

heighten the dramatic interest of the
novelty production.
