green, sequoia (In lienor of u Cherokee
Indian) redwood and sequoia glgentla.
The form er grows quite extensively In
certain sections on the western slope
of the coust ran g e; the la tte r only on
the western slope of the Sierra Ne-t
viola mountains, at an elevation of
about one mile above sea level. The

the stump, the other from little seeds
which grow In pods.
