a bridge across the John Day river.
It was agreed that a bridge be built
at the foot of Cottonwood gride;
that the G illiam county court let
the contract and supervise the con
struction; and, that Sherman coun
ty pay fifty per cent of tbs coat of
the bridge, which will be a tnod-
ern steel span of 120 feet with no
piers in the river.
