man county. We always have fat steersthat are
the equal or better of those found anywhere; we
have cookery to make the mouth water and
displays of canning that are truly artistic.
a fair is assurance that the land has done
well by us, carefully tended and skillfully worked,
it has responded with bountiful and worthy crops
and animals for our use.
This year it isn’t going to cost anything to see
it. There will be no charge at the main gate. Only
at the grandstand will there be a charge and that
will be a nominal $1.50 One can visit the barns,
watch the judging, meet the visitors and the exhib
itois, visit the pavilion where the household art is
shown all for nothing.

young exhibitors lead the return
This is the hundreth year of the
settlement of Sherman County and
the fiftieth year of the Sherman
County Fair. It is therefore a year
worthy of special attention to his­
tory and the fair. Be there.
