m arried Ju n e 10 a t Seattle, Wn.,
according to an announcem ent
m ade last week by the bride’s
parents, Mr and Mrs J. I. Cham
bers of The Dalles. After a trip
they retu rn ed to The Dalles hnd
later to the K ing ranch south of
Moro w here they will m ake their
home. Mrs King has a small son

Dalles last Sunday. The groom,
Roger Tetlow is from Astoria
where the couple will live until
fall when he will retu rn to the
university for his final year. Mrs
Tetlow lived in Moro when a
small girl and is a sister of J. K
McKean.
Mr and Mrs Harold K. Need­
ham and "daughter, of Pifsadena,
California were here the firs t of
the week to visit a t the Harold
Ginn home. Mrs Needham was
the form er F aith Ginn of his city.

Alan Thom pson is here to work
this sum m er on th e ’Russell Bel-
shee ranch. He is a son of Mr
and Mrs Orval Thompson, now
of Rui^ett, Idaho, and has been a t­
tending Oregon State.

cation from his railroad w ork and
is spending it in Moro^k ith old
friends.

in the air force for a period of

Appaloosa Show
Claud and Dewey Thom pson
returned from Ijewiston, Idaho,
Monday w here they had been to
attend the Appaloosie horse show
given by the Appaloosie Horse
association of which Claud was
first president and organizer.
Of his three stallions entered in

the show a two-year old took first is a visitor at the home of Mr and
