- The world expects much of America dur
ing 1943. Citizens expect much of America
as well. Well they might. American industry
is now ready-after a year or more of adjust
ments and preparation. Production is-now,
and will be remarkable. There is manage
ment, supply ingenuity, labor.
Undoubtedly the best way to make this
a happy new year for al, of us is to win the
■war. We have the' ecjnipment to .make the
arms, the men to use them, the food to feed
fighters and workers. Do we have the will to
win? That can be determined by the manner
in which all of us buy bonds to support the
fighting men.
Nothing we can do will aid to make this
a happy new year as much as actively, aiding
those endeavors that will bring an end to the
war.
Buying war bonds will speed the day of
victory.
Buying war bonds will make a
happy new year.
