same status as he held at the Ex­
periment station here in Moro,
that of assistant in the Department
of Plant Breeding, New York
College of Agriculture at Cornell
University. This in addition to a
half-time student. Bob states it
is so bold he is afraid he will have
to start wearing a hat. It was

Of interest to all church people
throughout the state of Oregon is
the Christian Mission, which will
take place in Portland from Fob.
23 to March 2 inclusive. This is
one of 22 cities in the United
States to be visited in this way
in the interest of a larger religious
life. During the next week there
will be 25 visiting speaker» and
400 meetings to be held in the
space of eight days. They come
from various parts of our coun­
try and from Canada, and include
such celebreties as Dr. E. Stanley
Jones of India and Miss Muriel
Lester of Eugland.
