At the recent conference of tho Washington County Board, tho Loun committee decided to use the machin ery of its well organized Patriotic League. A canvass will bo conducted with the school district as a unit, and will handle their bonds through tholr banks, crediting them to the bank lo cated in the district. "Yamhill County Women Active." Women are taking an unusual Inter est in the campaign In Yamhill County. They are relieving tho men from many of the duties of tho drives as they are needed td harvest tho fruit crop and other products. "Polk County Enthusiastic." I'olk County, according to report, has plans under way of which It la saying very llttlo. It Is very certain, howevor, that tho quota will ba promptly subscribed. "Lincoln County to Use Soldiers." With 3000 soldiers in Newport and surrounding territory, tho Liberty Loan Committee of Lincoln County expects HubHtantlal assistance from the men and officers situated thoro.
