Usher was severely cut and bruised in an auto accident Saturday afternoon. In company with C. II. Brooks, he was re turning from Blank's shearing plant, and when rounding a point east of Charles Harvill 's place came upon Edward Martin, who .was taking a crowd to Cornu copia. Sovoral conflicting reports are given as to the details of the mix up, but we have t een told that Mr. Brooks's overturned his car in attempting to "bank" it and Mr. Usher was thrown through the glass wind shield onto the rocks and rendered unconscious for a time. In spite of his ad vanced years, Mr. Usher suffered no broken bones and will prob ably be back at his office next week. As it happened no one else was njured and Martin's car only slightly damaged, but the Brooks' car was badly wrecked. We Both Make Money.
