Meat, Hour and sugar are the things to conserve and practically every family in this section has signed a pledge card to eliminate all waste possible. That all may gain further knowledge on WHY saving js necessary as well as HOW saving can be made by the nee of substitutes, Miss May Murphy, District Homo Demon stration Agent, will visit Rich land and will speak at the opera house on next Monday evening, November 19th, at 7:15 o'clock. Dec. 4, the voters of Richland will be called upon to elect a mayor and four council men, and we believe that more attention should be given to jthe matter at this particular t'me than has been given in the past. Men who can give their atten tion to the administration of the town's affairs are very few, and we suggest that the women of Richland get together and nom inate candidates from their own ranks for the offices to bo filled; then see that they were elected on December 4th.
