Luckily Mr. Shaver noticed him fall and has tened to bin Hide; realizing tl.e HerioiiHuess of Mr. Morgan's con dition, Dr. Wilson wan summoned ifntnediately. After atimulantB wore admin istered, Mr. Morgan recovered aufiieienlly to bo brought to town where he was placed in the Rich land Hotel and is now getting along nicely. This is the first trouble of the kind Mr. Morgan ever had, and as he had been ih apparent good health up until Tuesday morning wh-.n he lir?t felt pains in his chest, his case i'b such that he will nave to use every precaution to avoid future attacks. The purpose of this suit is nothing more nor less than a blind to gain sympathy and to mislead voters. It has nothing to do with the charges against him for which his recall is asked, and we predict the suit will never be brought to trial. MeSsick is smooth, in fact he "slick and slippery," lind like the slimy Oel will escape his just pun ishment if there is a possible crack to get out at. We believe, however, that the voters of the county have had enough of the man who said "To h with the Supreme Court," and will show their disapproval of his regime by their votes on Juno '1th. J. I). I Higgins of Spokane; Geo. P., a I resident ot Lalitornia; M. h.. or "Montie" who married Lioby BennehofT and resides at Moscow, Idaho; and one son whose address s unknown; Mrs. Minnie Roberts! of Spokane; Mrs. S. .1. Crain of Great Falls. Montana, and Mrs. Sadie Rathjens of Republic, Wash The deceased was an old settler of this section but left Eagle Vat ley about 1G years ago and for the past 12 years had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Roberts at Spokane. The latter arrive 1 in Richland with the re mains on Monday and tho funeral was held Tuesday, a large num ber attending. The services were conducted at tho cemetery, Rev. Bean ofikiating, and the re mains of Mr, Higgins were in terred beside the body of his wife who was buried here several years niio. Late Arrivals. A boy arrived at the hohle of Air. and Mrs. Smith Herring at Sparta on May 7th. A lino baby girl arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. RaySchultz on Friday, May llth. Mr. and Mrs. Icy Hewitt wel comed a fine boy at their home last Sunday, May lSlh. A big 7 1-2 pound boy was born to the wife of Linn Ifolcomb last Thursday, May 10th.
