The Jeff Baldwin that created a little
excitement in this part of Tillamook
Countv proved to he just an ordinary
tramp.
Smith, the calf man, savs send your
calves to him by stage. He is in the
market for all kinds, except Jersey hull
calves.
Mr. Youngs, the new stage operator
has rented the bungalow near tho hotel
and will have his family with him in a
day or so.
Otto Nicolay and wife are new resi­
dents of Meda. Mr. Nieolay has made
a deal with Mr. Irish for a piece of laud
near Mcda.
George Wells and family are expected
in from Portland this week. Geo. will
take up his oid position as ranch man­
ager for Mr. Kay.

Mrs. Ell'crt Worthington and children
