transport, each going over the same
road, resulted in some fine mixnps.
Eventually w e arrived all right anil
found th a t th is place w a s much better
than Ilazebrouck. which we had left.
Hazebrouck w as the junction of seven
railroad lines and consequently a popu-

T here w as every facility for q u a r te r ­
ing the men ami horses, good offices
for the staff, anil we w ere much nearer
