ry will perform some of his
own compositions, which
reflect his close-to-a-life-
time in music, encompass-
ing jazz, rock, classical,
funk and rhythm and blues.
Proceeds will benefit
the Performing Arts Cen-
ter. Astoria vocalist Dinah
Urell will join the group for
a few tunes.

The Cannon Beach City
Council will hold a public
hearing on Tuesday, February
6, 2018 at 7:00 p4m4 at Can-
non Beach City Hall, 163 East
Gower Street, Cannon Beach,
as a part of the regular City
Council meeting4 The purpose
of the hearing is to obtain citi-
zen comments on a proposed
35% increase in water rates
and a 5% increase in waste-
water, and a 5% increase in
storm sewer which would be
effective with water consumed
after March 20, 20184 The cu-
mulative increase for all three
utilities is 16%4 These rate
increases are necessary to
meet the operating and capital
costs of these utilities4
