Hunter Daggett graduated with an
MLitt degree on June 21, 2016, from
University of St. Andrews in Scot-
land. His dissertation has recently
been recognized by the British and
Irish Association for Practical Theol-
ogy and is on the short list for their
2017 annual prize.
Daggett worked at local establish-
ments including Pizza a Fetta and the
Cannon Beach Bakery from 1996 to
2005. His parents, Pete and Sue Dag-
gett, are full-time Cannon Beach res-
idents.
After graduating from Hillsboro
High School in 1999, Daggett at-
tended Portland Community College
and Clatsop Community College. He
graduated from Cannon Beach Ecola

Hunter, Amanda and their three
children now live in Nairobi, Kenya,
where has taught at Rosslyn Acade-
my, a Christian-based school for the
past six years.
Family members enjoyed the
journey to Scotland for the gradua-
tion ceremonies, including his par-
ents, Pete and Sue; in-laws Dan and
Barb Butler, also of Nairobi; brother
Jake Daggett and his wife Heather of
Bend; and his aunt and uncle, Amy
and Ron Petti, of Sunriver.
