esame and Lilies, located in the Cannon Beach Mall, has opened the “Upstairs Art Gallery” featuring
paintings by Diane Speakman. Speakman specializes in land/seascapes, birds, boats and animal and dog
portraits in oil and acrylic on canvas and hardboard. She has been painting on the Oregon coast for twenty
years. She utilizes a moderate pallete to render the soft hues of the northwest coast which gives her
paintings an impressionistic feel. Her new works are land/seascapes, abstracts and animal portraits, which
are currently showing at Sesame+Lilies Upstairs Art Gallery. Diane’s other works can be viewed on Sesame
