Convention Center Satur-

p.m. Visit Santa, enjoy kids
crafts and decorated trees
on display. This year the
festival celebrates 18 years
of holiday magic and will
continue its long tradition of
raising funds for communi-
ty and hospital programs.
Providence
Seaside
Hospital Foundation has
raised more than $1.4 mil-
lion since the ¿rst festival
in 1997. In 2014, the festi-
val alone raised $143,000 to
support the ¿rst Providence
ElderPlace program on
the 1orth Coast. Proceeds
from this year’s gala event
will support new surgical
equipment, including en-
hanced video camera inter-
nal scopes and digital print-
ers This new equipment
will provide accessibility
to more complex surger-
ies here on the north coast
that are not currently being
performed. The gala dinner
auction takes place at 5:30
p.m. with a champagne re-
ception and silent auction.
Dinner and live auction be-
gin at 6:30 p.m. Music by
Acústica World Music and
the event signature artist is
William Steidel. Tickets are
