CHANCE FORMER PLANS
Whole Building Rushed to
Completion. Wiring
Contract Let.
The contract of wiring the
new St Thomas Aquinas Acad
emy has been let to L E.
Laurance. Work will be started
next Monday and when the sys
tem is completed it will be elabor
ate with beautiful groups of
chandeliers, etc. One hundred
lights will be used to light the
building.
Since the Globe printed the
cut showing the front elevation
of the building as drawn by
Architect Burgraf there has been
several changes made by the
committee. The second floor,
as planned, is being omitted as
it was learned the building
would be too large, however the
floor space will be practically the
same as an extra large room
will be finished under the center
of the roof. The change will
make possible the finishing of
the entire building by the first
of the year.
