The News published at Wasco,
issued last week a "harvest spe
cial" It is unfortunate that the
press work was so mediocre as to
mar the attractiveness of the
cuts illustrating an otherwise
well arranged article. Yet such
an effort reveals commendable
enterprise and progress. The
new management of the News
is giving Wasco a good, weekly
paper.
Another change was made this
week in the management of the
Palace Hotel, by the Miller
Bros, securing the interest in the
business held by Ralph Ash
paugh. , The management will
continue - under the name of
Miller Bros.
