Celebrated Elopement '
Fifty years ago Mr. and Mrs. John
W. Frits and Mr. and Mr. William J.
Abbott ,of Urbana, Ohio, eloped to
Westfleld and were married. They
escaped from their parents on horse
back over roads impassable to car
riages. This week, on the 60th anni
versary of the event they went over
the same route and were married over
again at Westfleld. but thla time they
were whirled along ln automobiles at
the rate of SO miles an hour.
