Condon committee and perfected ar
rangements for the great annual meet
ing of the s'nb, which will be held In
Armory Hall, Condon, on the 27th and
28th Inst.
Mr. Stewart went to Portland Inst
Monday and engaged the best pipers,
dancers and lingers for tha occasion,
who are the best artiste in their several
lines obtainable.
Thit will be the greatest event in the
dob's history, and by far the best en
tertainment ever given by tbit deserved
ly popular club. Combining eiperieoce
with a free ate of money In procuring
talent of the highest order, It goes with
out saying that the publio will be in
vited to witneas a program in every re
spect satisfactory, and which will furth
er encbanoe the reputation of tb Scot
tish people and the Fossil Caledonian

J. D. Eites, from The Pallet, has pur
chased a lot on Main ttreet and expects

the latter at once and later will improve
hit business property but has not yet
announced what line of buaiuess he will
engage in.
The Arlington Lnmber Co. has pur
chased all of Block 61, east of their pres
ent vard. and will probably occupy the
same next Summer.
A. S. Ilollen has purchased an acre
tract in Lancaster'! addition an ! will
erect a number ot cottagea thereon for
rent. Other parlies who have bought
acreage in the tame addition are: U. E.

Thomas.
