Death of Mrs. Withers.
Mrs. Matiuda Withers, an aged rest
dent of tlil county, died at her home
near Mayvllln Monday evening after a
lingering Illness. She was one of the
U'mI known pioneer women of the coun
ty and was highly reH!cted. The funer
al was held venter lav at Mavvllle nmh-r
the direction of the Mavvllle Kelakeh
lodge of which deceased was an honored
member.
The Fourth at Lone Rock.
The celebration at Lone Rock was
aid to he a very great success despite
the inclement weather. A go" I sired
